Dr. Aylesworth knew she wanted to be a Veterinarian since she was old enough to understand what veterinary medicine was all about. She grew up in Rhode Island, spending time working and volunteering at local animal shelters and veterinary hospitals. After graduating from Mount Holyoke College with a BA in biology and working as a keeper at a small zoo, she and her husband Ryan moved to Minnesota where she attended the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. After spending several years enjoying life in the Midwest, they moved back to rural New England to grow roots and be closed to family.
Dr. Aylesworth joined VVS in 2011. She enjoys working with enthusiastic and compassionate veterinarians, technicians and staff that make up the Valley Veterinary Service team. Although she treats the full range of patients that come through the doors at the clinic, her greatest professional interests lie in medicine, dermatology and nutrition. While she mostly cares for dogs and cats she is enthusiastic and willing to provide care for any furry, scaled or winged friend that will make it through our doors.
Dr. Aylesworth and her husband Ryan reside in Berkshires with their Australian Shepard Weston, German Shorthaired Pointer Ole and their cat Maverick. In her spare time, Dr. Aylesworth enjoys adventuring through the Berkshires with her dogs, playing piano and riding her horse Juliet.
