Anesthetics are used in the practice almost on a daily basis. They allow us to perform surgical procedures, as well as calm patients that are overly stressed for less invasive procedures. Prior to the majority of sedatives and anesthetics, we run bloodwork to make sure there are no internal issues going on that we are unaware of. Our staff is thoroughly trained on multiple anesthetic protocols and how to monitor patients throughout the entire process. We also have equipment to monitor vitals and detect the slightest change in patient’s stability during anesthesia. Anesthesia is not a “one size fits all” and each patient’s history and condition are taken into consideration prior to use. Our staff can give you details on what to expect prior to and after sedation or anesthesia is used.
